About

Welcome to Linesfromafrica, a literary group that was established on the 28th of February 2008 with the aim of promoting African literature and providing a platform for writers to showcase their work.

Over the years, Linesfromafrica has grown into a vibrant community of writers and readers who are passionate about African literature. Our group is made up of individuals from different backgrounds and nationalities who share a common interest in African literature.

Our mission is to promote the richness and diversity of African literature by creating a platform for writers to share their work, and for readers to discover new and exciting voices. We aim to foster a supportive community that encourages and inspires writers to create their best work.

At Linesfromafrica, we believe that African literature is an important medium for telling the stories of our continent and its people. By showcasing the work of talented writers, we hope to contribute to the growth and development of African literature and to encourage more people to read and appreciate it.

Through our various activities such as writing workshops, book clubs, and literary events, we aim to create a space for writers and readers to connect, learn, and grow. We also organize competitions and other events to promote the work of emerging writers, and to encourage more people to get involved in African literature.

We are proud of the work we have done so far, and we look forward to continuing to promote African literature and to support writers and readers across the continent and beyond. If you are passionate about African literature, we invite you to join our community and be a part of this exciting journey.
